    Best place to buy eyeglasses for someone with no insurance?

    If you got money, you get glasses. I assure you....Go to Eye Mart, Wal-Mart, etc

    Try Walmart, ForEyes, LensCrafters. Check your local newspaper, sometimes there are coupons for these places.

    Lens crafers or cheapglasses123.com. Most places will work with you if you have no insurance.

    It's hard to find cheap glasses. They are one of those expenses that you just need to plan to spend $100 or more on for new ones.

    If you are farsighted and have a fairly minor prescription you can purchase reading glasses at your local drug store and they might do the trick.

    I know the Lions Club collects used glasses for charity. You can talk to them to find out if you would qualify (see link below).
